Whittier Heights is NW 65th, not NE.

#1 is correct. NE Streets in the 900 block are mostly if not all east of the freeway. A Roosevelt Apartment can be considered to be very close to Roosevelt Way North East. Some people would argue Roosevelt is also a neighborhood.

Possible cause of confusion? Lessons: do not trust Yahoo! Maps; or, always assume that in haste to bring news to the masses, people do not review their texts for typos prior to publishing. That W key is adjacent to the E key. Casey McNerthney is at least equally at fault.

I just drove past this mess. If you're planning on getting a massage at Dreamclinic, some gas at Shell or a delicious plate of Thai or Indian food you need to make alternate plans.

Yeah to reiterate: this is in the Roosevelt/Ravenna area, not Whittier Heights/Ballard.

I work next door. We're all on lock down ... it sucks.

It's not anywhere near Ballard. It's in the Ravenna neighborhood.

Gin? yes please: where are you at? I'm in an aparement just west of I-5... tried to go buy beer at the QFC, saw all the cops with guns, decided today wa a good day to chill at home. Lots of high schooolers from Roosevelt wandering the streets, though--sucks that you have to be on lock down!

BTW--guys, the bad sense of direction was my fault. I was looking at NW 65th in the city's neighborhood atlas, not NE 65th. Not Cienna's fault.
