Guess her callback for the Old Navy commercial never came.

I like the dude on Denny/Aurora spinning the sign for some condos. He rocks out to some music he's listening to and dances at the cars.....it's very entertaining to watch when you're stuck in traffic.

Kinda takes all the schadenfreude out of it, doesn't it?

A lot of places started hiring these people to wear sandwich boards, costumes or spin signs because municipal sign ordinances prohibited stationary signs. Then it just spread. So now places that didn't have ordinances prohibiting stationary signs in the first place now have stationary signs imitating the human powered loophole that didn't apply to them.

Best slog post all day, even if it is from a filthy hippie Oregonian.

The sign spinners make me dizzy. Look away... look away...

I just said a little prayer hopping that someday you fall on fanancial hard times so severe that you are forced to take the only job you can find which is one very much like a sign-spinner.

At which point some hipster butthead like yourself publishes a gross generalization about you.

It's great to know that the Slog is secure in it's bigotry against the working poor.
