Rendell is definitely not an idiot. He loves the limelight; is always throwing sarcastic zingers out there. I find him amusing. Of course, I'm originally from Philadelphia.

Karl Rove is already busy undermining Palin. Twelve months from now her chances of getting the nomination will be toast. Karl will clear a path for the third coming of the Bush regime. The model is the Samoza family.

@1 I'm going for idiot (well, to be fair, only partial), but then again, I'm in Pittsburgh.

And yeah, he does love the limelight!

I'd ignore what Bloomberg is saying, because in business news segments he's dropping broad hints that he's ready to be "called to serve".

Palin should run with some other wacko as her VP.

Mark my words: Palin will run. And it will be a glorious (read: hilarious) few months until she loses the primary.

My greatest hope is that she runs as an independent after losing the primary. That would be the greatest gift she could give Obama.

I wonder whose bright idea the Palin trip to Haiti was. The intent appears to be getting her in the news doing retired-President-type things, aping the Clinton/Shrub mission, apparently with the thought that if people can picture her being a past President, they will then more easily imagine her as President.

However, I doubt that eye-rolling is a skill in much demand in Haiti right now.

C'mon Bloomberg, we need a president that can finance their own campaign so they won't be bought by Goldmann Sachs. It's the only way now.

Please wait...
