Nothing finer than to hear an Australian say the word "nyayewyw" ("no").
2
I understand being pitilessly mocked by your mates to be a permanent feature of Australianality.
3
Too bad Chasers (Aussie version of Daily Show) is no longer on the air, they would be perfect to cover this.

Ahahaha, man I miss that place.
@2 - a thick skin is a great thing to have.
@3 - I know, right? Love the Chaser team.

Seems it was all in good humor, and I'm guessing Jackman had a good laugh as well. I enjoy zip-lining, but must wonder where was the brake. I screwed up once and had too much speed going down, but was fortunate enough to make contact with the fir tree with the balls of my feet and push back, and give myself a second chance to brake properly. I know I, and the rest of my extended family, had a big laugh at my "battle" scars.

I agree, Fnarf. Such a charming and debilitating accent, indeed.

Onya Hughsie!

Why won't Hughsie look at the camera?

I like the presentation of the accident as a sacrificial offering to Oprah. In ten years, they'll do it with a stone knife and a small child.

I can't understand how we've gotten this far in the conversation without anyone boggling at Hughsie's awesome shirt. Jesus Christ.

Gus @2, you win today's internet with "Australianality".
