The Smithsonian really is proving quite invertebrate. Why the hell are they letting a vocal fundie minority dictate what we display as important to our culture!?! The NPG knows 'Fire In My Belly' isn't attacking Christians. Asshattery all around.

Chronologically, wasn't Andres Serrano a victim of this same issue between Mapplethrope and the current victim?
