Was it explained somewhere and I missed it? - Why did Grant spend the week inside the offices of the stranger? Was he not allowed to go home ever and why? Is there someone inside the stranger's offices at all times? If so, why?

I never got to use a computer in lockup, but it was about 10 years ago that I was last in, so things might have changed. That is cool if they let you use a computer in there! :) Grant, what are they treating you for? (if you don't mind saying)
