Yes, awesome and beautiful. And damn. And wow. Anybody else notice how much parts of it sound like Poker Face?
2
Amazing. Love it. Already posted it to my Facebook page. Thanks Rebecca (and the rest of the cast and crew) for what was obvioulsy a huge effort. And, of course, thanks to Dan for getting the ball rolling.
3
That's just great! And I'm glad it sounds more like Lady Gaga, and less like something sad or sappy...way to make it cool, Rebecca Drysdale.
4
That is super lovely. She was at Second City - man, what a breeding ground for genius. Thank you!

(Here's here "Time Traveling Lesbian" bit from Funny or Die...)

waiting for Colbert...
6
*swoon* Fantastic.
7
Well, probably not a coincidence that the two major influences are Gaga and Madonna rather than, say, Buju Banton. And I totally agree, Canuck - I wouldn't have made it through if it had looked like something Hallmark produced.
8
It's actually pronounced George "Ta-kay". Bad rhyme. But cute song, despite the lack of old-time banjo.
9
I. freaking. love. this. So awesome!!!
10
Take that haters! Fantastic!
11
Great job but I seem to remember another original IGB song by a American Idol semi-finalist posted on YT months ago.
12
I was locked in my locker in junior high for an hour too. Motherfuckers. It gets better for straight kids also.
13
Did you listen to her comments at the end of the video, Fnarf? She's right there with you.
14
No, I dropped out during the thump-thump instrumental break. I'm too old for that. I'll have to rewind.
15
Yeah, the comments at the end were one of the things I loved about the video - both for their content and for the sincerity with which they were delivered.
16
Love, love, love this one. And FINALLY something we can dance to. Definitely anthem material.
17
Anthem is right. Fav line:
"There won't be much time, before they get in line, for a chance to suck your dick."
Hahaha- awesomeness!
As far as the beat goes, parts of it remind me of "I'm Fucking Matt Damon" by Sarah Silverman.
18
i love it! brilliant!
20
Damn, that was so awesome my eyes are leaking, thank you for sharing this, Dan!
21
Socks. Knocked. Off.

I can't believe it only has just over 300 views so far...
22
I'm tearing up... Beautiful...
23
That effing rocked!
24
What a great video, but seriously, it is way too early for crying .
25
Best IGB video ever.
26
Glad I wasn't the only one whose eyes got wet there. Which surprised me until I realized I was reacting to the emotion throughout. Love.
27
Fun! I had to set down the guitar and jump up and follow those dance moves. I love her at the ending, too.
28
I'm wondering where i can download the song, would definatly put that on my iPod.
29
Very Peachy. Love. It.

Loved it! (And sorry, fnarf, but even the "thump-thump." Age evidently has nothing to do with it!)

Another video I just saw today (but posted back on 12/9) impressed the hell out of me. It's overly long, but a direct promise to students by the US Dept of Justice's Civil Rights Division to prosecute administrators who don't take steps to stop ongoing LGBTQ bullying occurring in their schools. They included their website and their toll-free number (877-292-3804).

I was impressed by their willingness to defend sexual diversity by interpreting the gender protections of the Civil Rights Law to cover it.

Dan, this awesome, awesome project of yours is resulting in a great increase in public awareness and participation in what is a clear civil rights battle. Even the government has decided it's time to step up their efforts.

So, simple, but brilliant! Thank you again.

P.S. Have you seen the Eagle Scout one? BSA, you been pwned.
31
Wow!
32
wow

it's worse than we thought.
33
@19 Yes, Chris Colfer (AKA Kurt on Glee) is gay. Advocate article here.
34
Dan, I commented on this on Youtube and told her that you thought her video was great. She sent me a message and wanted me to tell you thank you for starting it in the first place.
35
Don't worry about your wet pants, @32. Go out to KMart or Wal-Mart tonight with the rest of "Real America" and get a nice big package of the store-brand Depends. You'll save a lot of money in the long run.
36
That is awesome!
37
Perfect! (And not just because it freaked out my 19-year-old when he left his cave to find out who was crankin' the music and shakin' it . . . oh, crap, it's MOM! Bonus points for that.)
38
I thought I was the only one with a pussy vault.
39
Daaaaaaaaamn she's hot. Also brilliant!
40
Love it! I was bullied for years in school for being a fat kid, so it's really sweet that she added that tag at the end. She's earned a lot of fans today...thanks for the tip, Dan!
41
I'll rock to this!
42
I'm crying, too. That was beautiful, cool and creative! I'll go comment on her web page, too. Dan, look what you and Terry have sown. Wonderful.
43
Sent it out to everyone I know. Can't wait for the itunes version to 'come out' tomorrow!
44
What got better for Oscar Wilde?

Please wait...
