Wow, the Stranger staffers were so hell bent on tearing a new pussy on Sarah Palin that no one thought to do the morning news yesterday. Seems that some convoluted cartography concern made them go ballistic – then they wet their panties over Sarah Palin deleting angry and hurtful comments on her Facebook page – well gee – it’s not like a scandal or anything because deleting comments is a feature of Facebook! They’re saying “rhetoric has consequences” but did they ever have any regrets over the crosshairs and other blood-inspiring graphics over George W. Bush. Noooo! Those lefty dildos even made a movie about the assassinating him. Where’s the restraint there? The hypocrisy is stunning.
Turns out that Jared Loughner’s Internet ramblings is better fodder for psychiatrists than it is for pundits hoping to untangle it into a political ideology so that they can sharpen their boring pontifications against the GOP, Sarah Palin, and Rush Limbaugh. Fact is, Sarah Palin was no more influencing of Jared’s actions than Michael Moore, Dan Savage, et al.
These folks are livid. They can’t stand that they lost the House and they fear losing the White House in 2012 so much that they’re reaching for the sky to grab any despicable tactic no matter how convoluted it is.

@1 Please show me where the Stranger created and published crosshairs and blood-inspiring graphics about George W. Bush. I've been reading Slog since it started, and the Stranger for years before that, and I don't recall seeing anything like that.

And in general, I remember tons of images produced that depicted George W. Bush in a prison uniform, or with oil dripping out of his mouth, or some other depiction calling for him to be arrested and tried for war crimes. But never did I see any graphic representations calling for him to be violently attacked and/or murdered.

@3 some states, like ours, have a drinking age of 21 and even have delayed traffic licenses that restrict driving priveleges until you turn 21. Hence, 22 could - at a stretch - be considered barely legal.
