Circle of life, and all that. The wounded are culled from the herd. Sad, but then freedom and nature are heartless bitches.
2
"Wounded woman", my ass.
She's a shark just like the rest of them. Looks to me like they've resorted to cannibalism to save themselves.
3
Palin says one of her nicknames is "Barracuda" right?

Blood in the water seems fitting then.
4
Sharks tend to just chow the hell down on their prey. Vultures do the real circling.
5
her next tweet: "aww poop, my blood red jacket is sooo ill fitting & tasteless now, also" --***followed by the kind of stress induced jerky reflexive wink***
6
But again there is no evidence to suggest that it had anything to do with this mentally unstable person's rage and senseless act in Arizona.

Is he talking about Jan Brewer?
7
Never, ever underestimate this woman! Palin has an incredible skill at surviving the waters, even with all the chum she casts in alongside her. I just don't see that she will be going away anytime soon.
8
I am still confused by her crosshairs, I've seen her shoot a gun, and it seems like if she was aiming for the congresswoman the crosshairs would have been a couple states to the right...
9
you wish, charles. she's insulated from reality by a cozy foxnews parka.
10
She's a red herring. You all will be standing around pointing and laughing at how damaged Palin is while one of the Pawlentys or Huckabees will creep behind your back into the White House.
11
@7, she won't go away, because her key role is to provide a kook anchor point, so the other candidates can say "I'm no extremist; look how far from her I am". Even though their actual positions are not significantly different.
12
can we please bring Mike "Cop Killer" Huckabee back into the news?

As we all know Barack Obama is responsible.

Reasoning:

Post 911 intelligence agencies have been monitoring the Internet with super computers using lexical parsing for clues as to terrorist acts.

Clearly, either incompetence, or premediation, allowed this act to occur.

In any case, as Head of State, Barack Obama is directly responsible for allowing this to occur.

Also, he cannot blame George Bush as he's had two years to get the intelligence machinery working.

Therefore, Barack Obama is to blame.

I realized that America just put an, to most, exotically-named African-American in the White House—still, there's no way in hell anyone with the name Pawlenty makes it past the primaries.
15
Pawlenty has done all he can here in Minnesota to ensure that crazy people don't get sufficient social services. And here he is mewling about a "mentally unstable person's rage."

But then, Timmy P. is a shameless whore driven solely by personal ambition, and he has a grudge against Palin for stealing his rightful place as McCain's running mate in '08, so his hypocritical comments are to be expected.

Pawlenty is one of the most loathsome creeps in politics today, though. So it's tough to side with him even when he bites at Mrs. Palin.
16
@13: Wow, Supreme, that reads just like the logic in one of Loughner's videos.

The paper cuts by politicians and the ambitious climbers are usually bloodless, but they are cumulative.

The paper cuts by politicians and any ambitious calculators are usually bloodless, but they are cumulative.

I would like to thank whoever's responsible for editing the title of the post from "Everyday" to "Every Day" because that one really annoys me.

And fwiw I'm willing to acknowledge that I'm an asshole for bringing it up. But my gratitude is sincere.
20
(ALTHOUGH! One could make a convincing case that the original title of the post was correct, with the meaning, "Trouble [is an] Everyday [feature of life] for Palin" instead of my first read, "[There are new signs of] Trouble Every Day for Palin." So. Call me a pedant if you like, but a pedant with a sense of fairness, please. Also, still an asshole.)

Please wait...
