Thankfully nobody reads the comments on the news because I'm here to play devil's advocate for the fuckup kid pointing guns at people in my back yard.

First arrest: a bus driver had him arrested for "underpaying the fare" and "holding the bus up" -- the King County Sheriff decided he overpaid the fare (since 18 year olds get to pay the juvenile fare) and did not hold the bus up.

Second arrest: he "held up" someone with a cigarette lighter shaped like a gun and stole some pot from a complete fucking idiot. Whatever.

and now the third. At least he used a real gun this time.

This kid is obviously a fuckup who deserves to be hit by a bus sooner than later, but these first two arrests were a joke. And you have to be completely naive if you think the juvenile justice system is not a complete joke.

Glad he is 18 now but he'll be back in the CD pointing guns (or lighters) at people within a few months at the most.

Billy Chambers is representative of the Charming Psychopath who has plagued Seattle for the last decade. It's no so much that there is a Billy Chambers, but that there are hundreds of them...and that Seattle natives and their trusting nature are easy prey.

I may be confused. But didn't I just read where our mayor wants another school levy approved on the same day the school district is accused of throwing away almost two million dollars?!? This pill is gonna be hard to swallow.

The school levy the mayor is calling for will be administered by the city, not the school district. It has a good track record with proper spending and accountability.
