Dammit, TominChicago beat me to it. But I'll say it again, because it deserves it: Not making this damn movie and giving that woman anymore screen time would be a lot better choice. Fuck.
I don't really think this movie is about Sarah Palin. Game Change was about the 2008 election -- Palin will be one of the characters, but unless they stray really far from the book, she won't dominate the movie. The book has a strong focus on Obama/Hillary, the Edwards affair, etc.
Juliane Moore is wonderful and I love her in everything. If @11 is right then I'm not so disgusted about the movie. I'd hate to see Palin's "actual book" get made into a movie.
I vote for Flipper, Flipper, faster than lightning, no one you see is smarter than she, Flipper, Flipper, lives in a world of wonder, flying there under, under the sea.
Eva Braun in blackface perhaps. I doubt there'd be any casting choice that would make me eager to watch anything that involves Palin, even a fictionalised version.
Julianne Moore is a fantastic actress, and I have no doubt she could pull off the role. But why the fuck would I want to watch such a movie? Living through the 2008 election was excruciating enough. I have no desire to relive it through an HBO movie.
And that dude who played Col. Tigh in the new Battlestar Galactica has to play John McCain. The resemblance is uncanny. And Rebecca DeMornay would make a splendid Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Not making this movie would be a better idea. Even if it does make her look awful, I have had enough of this bitch. Unless Obama does in fact need the help getting reelected, that is.
@BostonFontSnob: I always thought David Morse, if given the right wig, could look exactly like Bill Clinton. But you're right, Dennis Quaid couldn't pull it off.
Charlie Sheen as Sarah Palin. 'Cause he's already on a drug called "Charlie Sheen" and it has the magical property of making you an egomaniacal blow-hard.
Hmm, blow-hard...ya' think Palin gives hard blows?
I like Julianne Moore....but why do we need a movie about Palin? I am so sick of her, I don't think I could bear to watch a movie about her...unless Stewart, and Colbert co-wrote it. I will skip this movie, thanks...but no thanks!
But this is a terrible idea no matter who plays her.
Fuck, I'd rather see Roger Moore play the role, just to spite that hateful Alaskan nobody.
Clearly, the Palin movie should be done with here completely absent, along the lines of "Garfield minus Garfield".
Had enough of Palin.
Ignore her and she'll go away.
For the first time ever in my life I just got two boners at once.
Hope Davis plays her in "The Special Relationship" and she is uncanny! Dennis Quaid's Bill, though, not so much.
