"an independent run for president by this birther nutjob would be the best thing in the world for Barack Obama"

Yeah...'cause if the GOP found someone sane Obama would be sent packing January 20, 2013

Donald Trump does seem to have Ross Perot written all over him, which worked out well for Bill Clinton.

I don't think he'd run independent. Trump just likes seeing his name on everything. He'll play the politics game for exactly as long as it pumps up his book sales and hotel customers. As soon as he feels it's not doing that enough to be worth the investment he's out.
4
so, will he lose to Obama by 20 or 30 points?

I'm estimating by 26 points.
5
Damnit, he's peaking too early! C'mon, the Donald, pace yourself.

For the last time: Donald Trump is not running for president.

He knows perfectly well that if he really ran he'd have to make a financial disclosure, and he's more likely to gnaw off his own leg on the Wendy Williams Show than that.

He's advertising his flailing TV show, that's all.
7
He's an entertainer and relishes the spot light no matter what the spot light is or where.
8
HUCKARUMP 2012.
9
Trumpabee is a fantastic word.

Maybe as the name of a favored pet goat?

@1: "Obama would be sent packing January 20, 2013"
OH FUCK. I can't take four years of rule by some Republican fat cat oil baron! Wait, what was the first part of that?
"if the GOP found someone sane"
Oh, all right. Keep calm and carry on.

Trumpabee, Huckarump... they both sound gross. And the though of Donald Trump as president makes me want to throw up.
12
How do people this stupid find their way to the polls? Surely this is evidence of voter fraud.

My favorite comment on the link to the CNN poll regarding Palin:
"What did you expect them to say? That she comes in fourth behind three circus clowns?"

Please wait...
