The 10th Amendment reads that powers not given by the constitution are reserved for the states (and the people!).

Until they amend the constitution to prohibit marijuana, they can take their Schedule I classification and shove it up their fucking ass, this is about federalism god-damn it.

Instead of asking McKenna, why not ask the people who pull his strings, or the group w/ their arm shoved up McKenna's ass, making him talk?

I vote for weasel.

Lie-gers don't change their spots.

@1 Keep reading, and you'll see that the 14th pretty much says federal law trumps state laws.
I'd say the 14th carries more weight, as it was created out of the reality of the union, not the fantasy of a "perfect union" some elitist slaveholders had.

What? You mean the states' rights arguments are really all about keeping the feds out of segregation, not really about states' rights?

Say it ain't so!

If you're going to rightfully condemn McKenna, why not even more rightfully condemn Obama, whose Justice Department has threatened state employees with charges if they license medical marijuana dispensaries? Can we all agree that Obama obviously doesn't care about sick and dying people who use marijuana?

Would sure love to see a story about McKenna's involvement in the 50 state suit over mortgage fraud. Seems as though these 50 AGs are backing off and cutting a deal, without any discovery or prosecution; a payoff by the TBTF banks.
