First blush: the state got trounced.

@1 - Unfortunately, I have to disagree. The attitude of the justices appears to be "You're right, they suck, but there's not really much we have the authority to do about it.

Obviously schools should tie children down in chairs and tape their eyes open.

If only those powerless justices were members of some kind of court of high standing, then they could take action. Curses!
