Virtually unreadable? Are you fucking blind Constant? I read comics on a 7 inch galaxy tab without any problems.
2
Predictable. The frame will fail though. I keep looking at pics of Bezos holding up things. It looks like Howie Mandell mixed with Uncle Fester.

OH NO SOMEONE'S PRAISING SOMEONE OTHER THAN SAINT JOBS! BEGIN THE BAWWWWW!

He should from this moment forward only ever be seen in jeans and a maroon turtleneck. Just to be different.

@ 2 - No shit. What happened to Bezos' hair?

@3: Sheddup! It's annoying when anyone gets that sort of "star" treatment. I'm glad it's a local, but it's still boring as hell. I like my techies to be geeks, not lady gaga.

Re: DC, who gives a damn? Their comics could be printed on silk with ink made from precious stones suspended in the finest champagne, and I still wouldn't read them. Even with their relaunch they're everything wrong and regressive in comics.

White Swans keep coming up to bat, hoping to save the lead.

The fact that they wouldn't let anyone use it tells me all I need to know about why it's $199.

Also Bezos is a libertarian douchebag.

They used the phrase "thought bombs" without irony? Or maybe that was a very esoteric reference?

"The fact that they wouldn't let anyone use it tells me all I need to know about why it's $199."

They wouldn't let anyone play with it for long because it wasn't complete and polished. It's not like they're going to do that forever.

I would argue that it is the pane, not the page, that is the basic element of a comic you need to fit onto a screen, and comics are already constrained in many ways by the size of the paper-pages they are printed on. Yes, some comic elements do span panes or fill whole paper-pages, but in e-format that's what gestures are for to zoom and unzoom. The seven-inch format will constrain comics in new and different ways, but not necessarily in worse ways. And e-comics will also ultimately offer things that paper-comics cannot.

He's one of the Observers from Fringe.
