Anyone who has seen Courtney Love's MySpace (been a while since I wrote that word) tirades knows that she can't write a logical sentence to save her life.
2
When the White House and State Department say you're guilty of something and you need to die, you don't get a trial.

The Obama Administration is now pretending that the 5th amendment to the Constitution - "No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law" - doesn't exist.

Great T-Rex performance. Wonderful stuff. Analogous to Bowie who had come out in 1971 or 72 with Queen Bitch. A new, beautiful episode in rock was developing that transcended acid rock of the era.

No link on the Boeing drug bust? I bet we see more stories like this in the future: workplace prescription drug rings, whether for stimulants of painkillers, as the few remaining employed people are worked to death for CEO profits.
5
seals and croft introduce t-rex. PRICELESS.
6
@1 - The only way I'll read her book is if she wrote it without any help.
7
@2- I'm sure Paul Constant will write a breathless blog post later today talking about how tough and awesome Obama is for his due process free killing of a citizen.
8
Bass solo! Cocaine! Surely that's Gloria Jones singing backup over there.
9
@7: Goldy beat him to it.
10
@9 - Thanks! Hadn't seen that last night. To think I thought Goldy was the competent political analyst here.
11
@2: So apparently it was also wrong for Union troops to shoot and kill Confederate troops without capturing them and putting them on trial first?

Tuna works for cats; maybe pizza would work for that 20-year-old up a tree.

The War on Spas.

It's here ...
14
Yes, VL - totally evil. We're just supposed to sit back and do nothing while people try to kill us.
15
Hey 5280, aren't you a lawyer? Why don't you go over to Goldy's post and get in on the "due process" debate?
16
@14 @11 Yeah, especially with the evidence SO overwhelming you can't find any and the alleged "killer's" major crime is supposedly "inspiring" violence. Nice try there...

"Let no man think we can deny civil liberty to others and retain it for ourselves. When zealous agents of the Government arrest suspected 'radicals' without warrant, hold them without prompt trial, deny them access to counsel and admission of bail....we have shorn the Bill of Rights of its sanctity..."

I'd rather have a root canal without anesthetic, Matt.

re all the killing people without due process...if you sign up with an organization that declares war on a country, then go out and become the public face of that organization and rally for attacking your declared enemy, you shouldn't be surprised if that enemy takes your declaration of war seriously and actually fights back. If you were an Axis soldier in WWII you could expect a similar response from an Allied plane and vice versa. That's kind of how war works.
I'm hardly a cheerleader for war, but this case is pretty obvious.
19
Yep. Pretty obvious that you'll be the first to hit the button in any Milgram's experiment at home or abroad.

Three tambourines!

Please wait...
