"Tie to ACORN" is one noodle in the spaghetti bowl conservatives throw at the wall to see what will stick. This one never sticks, but it comforts them to repeat the action over and over. It's their thumbsucking, their drum circles.

ONE noodle @3? Conservatives are like Oscar Madison flinging Felix Unger's entire plate of linguini against the wall: they'll toss every hair-brained conspiracy they can think of into the pot, throw THAT at the wall, and THEN if just a single "noodle" sticks - or even slides down the wall slightly slower than the rest for that matter - they'll claim it's irrefutable proof ALL of them are valid.
