Sisters Organize for Survival, which is an community outreach program that was initiated by Radical Women, was started about two years ago in response to the 2008 economic crisis. Since then the group has protested the budget cuts, spearheaded a campaign to save Basic Health, petitioned organized labor to put on a labor and community rally to protest the budget cuts. The fight continues during the special legislative session as we will help mobilize to Occupy the Capitol on Nov 28 - Dec 2 and beyond.
