How long does it take to show up? I forwarded my receipt over 3 hours ago. I donated money so I deserve the right to feel smug in the comments!
2
Nevermind. It was adblock. Yet another site for me to disable that on...
3
What's this about no Strangercrombie this year? I can't find anything other than Tracy's comment in the last Charity! post; can an actual employee confirm? And why no Strangercrombie?
4
Aaaaand.....
5
.... no tag! Booooooo
6
Zebes, I see a tag on you that says "AWESOME PERSON" - can you confirm if this is true about you? I bet it is. Thanks for MS Paint-ing all over my historical record there, Bethany! And for making it all so, Anthony.
7
WHERE IS MY AWESOME PERSON?!?!?!?!? And did anyone give yourself a cool title on the form? I made myself a Senator!!! God-Like Deity wasn't available.

@3: Details on the retirement of Strangercrombie are over here...

@4/5: Patience! They're webmonkeying as fast as they can, and our main monkey is out this week—let me know if it doesn't show up in a day or so. Rest assured, YOU ARE AWESOME meanwhile!
9
I am smugly and confidently awesome.
10
Just donated! Feed the world, make it a better place for you and for me and the entire human race.
11
If one of the members of Awesome donates, does the world explode? :\
12
Let's see if this works.
13
@6 Indeed? I guess it's just a problem with my work internets tubes, then, 'cause I can't see tags on anybody. I'll check again when I get home.

And if I still don't see anything, I will blog angrily and perhaps even tweet about it.
14
@8, I see no details there.

Just in case nobody knows: Northwest Harvest is a scam. KING 5 often has these food drives, but if you're a client of Northwest Harvest you'll find out that none of it ever gets handed out by Northwest Harvest. Every week the only things that are available are rice and potatoes. Most weeks all you'll see is cans of diced tomatoes and sometimes canned beans. Not much more than that. They often don't even have day old bread.

@14: "This is urgent—times are terrible—so we’ve retired the Strangercrombie auction to concentrate on just raising money that goes straight to help some of the very neediest. (This is also not the year to ask local businesses to give away things to auction—they’re struggling, too.)"
17
Oh my god I can see the awesome person tags right now and it's so much better than I envisioned
18
Donated! The Awesome Person tag was just the reminder to donate that I needed.
19
This is great. Thank you for doing this.

Does GAWKER know this is going on? (test, test)

Please wait...
