Who are the Republicans going to demonize now that they can't rely on gay-bashing? The Soviet Union is gone, they can't go all Willie Horton without managing to offend people like Michael Steele and Herman Cain, and the red scare is soooo 50's!

I suppose they can move on to the "illegals," but Republicans manage to offend a lot of legal immigrants when they do that, and they need the Hispanic vote.
