I found this article hilarious. And not exploitative. You people 1) can't appreciate the absurd and 2) can't recognize this author's goodwill toward Amanda Knox.

Some of you need to move to a country where they can put you on trial over and over and over until they get the conviction they want. I have been in other countries. She was young and pressured beyond anything any of you can ever imagine. Many of you think guilty and no chance of being innocent. In America many think you go to court "for" justice. The truth is you go to court for a "chance" at justice. They had her for years. Years in a cell - being told she was HIV positive, being called the devil.
I would not expect any 20 year old could stand up to this treatment for this long. She was broken just like a prisoner of war. Pressure someone for long enough they will say anything. Pure military tatcics that have been proven not to result in a high percentage of truth. Italy had their chance for 1460 days and now they continue. Why? Because someone wants her to be found guilty? Wants? Too much of her life has been taken. It amazes me that if you only take one fact - Italy had her for 1460 plus days and let her go - should mean it was over. They had their best shot, and they took it again and again and again. Now they want to do it again? I have thought she was innocent for a very long time. The fact that the USA would allow Italy to take her back again for another trial is wrong. If you are unable to present a case in a reasonable amount of time and obtain a conviction that sticks - then the case is lost. They lost. What she deserves is to be accepted as a person who went on trial and was released. Yet I read over and over that so many are unable to think anything but the worst. Can you imagine your 20 year old daughter being held for four years with the treatment we know she received and we only know 1%. I wish I could tell her I accept her as innocent and that I am sorry this has lasted this long. She deserves a life now and for you to convict her again on the web is just as sick as Italy doing their best for years, allowing her to go home - only to show up at her door again. I believe her, I would welcome her as a friend or simply allow her enjoy the peace of knowing she lives in a country where if you are put on trial and released, that it is over. What happened is now between God and who did it. Man has had his chance. The emotional pain of this will be with her for too long. Italy has nearly taken her life. This is now something where someone wants to become famous or simply be right about something that has already been proven wrong. In any situation the court should be able to go with their evidence and if the person is released – game over with the person found innocent. The decent thing to do then is to allow them to be and hope they find some peace after a terrible ordeal. And do not forget – I know someone was murdered. After court however it is between their maker the person who did the crime.

Don't live in any of the aforementioned places and think she is very guilty and requires a psychiatric assessment along with her 9 day ex-lover whom she was unfaithful to.
