Shouldn't Holmes have called the FBI to have them put a wire on him and get the attempted bribery on tape? O'Neil's never going to jail at this rate.
2
Shouldn't the Seattle's Police Officer Guild be prosecuted under the current RICO statutes?
3
Rich O'Neill committed perjury, and the city attorney's office should nail him for it.
4
Sounds like they are leaving open the possibility of perjury charges. Don't you think?
5
Fuck this. If Pete Holmes does nothing, he will go down as Seattle's worst ________ ever. Yes, an extortion attempt of the Seattle city attorney is called "initiat[ing] a conversation."
6

Pete Holmes should be fired for getting up in front of an illegal drug party, held in a public park with his blessing, and telling young kids that it's okay to break the law and take narcotics.

7
@6: Pete Holmes should be elected mayor for that.
8
@7 cept our Mayor did it, too.
9
@6 - Horrors.
10
@6 If only he had cuffed a few kids and kicked them on stage, like a good protector of liberties, then we'd be building a statue of the man.

O'Neill is finding out that the SPD has no credibility in this city anymore.

@10 you can say that again, it's hard to look at a police officer in the city and not think of these cases, I get these represent a small percentage of people but defending the worst of "your own kind" sinks you to their level. I'm sure there are plenty of people in the department who hate this, who just wish justice would be served and they can go back to serving their community, who wish their fellow officers wouldn't use so much force when it's clearly unnecessary AND ENTIRELY CAUGHT ON FILM. The fucking balls on those guys.

Please wait...
