It's Trayvon, not Treyvor.
2
The Santorum news flash: He could definitely be elected President - of a reconstituted CSA.
3
Getting closer. It's Trayvon, not Treyvon.
4
Gingrich is such an asshole. And it sounds to me like the law in Florida was written to give people the right to gun down innocent black people in the wrong neighborhoods. It sounds a lot like it.
5
Same old Bachmann.
"And when you're a mother, of course, when something tragic like this happens, you want to know what the truth is, what's the result."

Mmmm, no.
There seem to be mothers who do not care.
There seem to be men who do care.
So that bit about being a mother? Totally irrelevant.
But when all you have is your ability to reproduce (like almost every other species on Earth) then I guess you have to go with that.
6
How many hearts has Cheney gone through at this point? Isn't it against donor rules to give perfectly good organs to people who clearly won't take care of them?
7
When Obama said if he had a son he'd look like Trayvon, I thought he was referring to similar facial characteristics and such. I didn't think the president was referring to race at all. Terrible of Newt and Michele to extrapolate a race card out of that.

FL Stand Your Ground

A person who is not engaged in an unlawful activity and who is attacked in any other place where he or she has a right to be has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.

Because George Zimmerman has displayed the stalk and slay characteristics of a serial killer, and person near to him is in imminent harm.

Therefore...stand your ground.

Um...it kind of WAS a question of what that young man looked like.
Today's Republicans would hate on the President for making a racial issue out of a lynching by the KKK if, God forbid, one happened.

Like when Democrats made a racial issue out of the tragedy of Katrina?

Even though Democrats Nagen and Blanco were to blame for most of the harm.
11
@10 - No, not like that at all you republican shill. And where's your semi-unrelated YouTube clip?

Answer the charge.

@10
Yay! Concern trolling for the win!
Remember that time when that thing happened and it was in all the papers and ...

Let's argue about that instead!
Because I think I may have some facts to support me in that case and if not then at least the subject won't be about something that I don't have any facts to support now.
14
Of course Obama was talking about race! This whole fucking thing is about race! What good does it do to pretend it isn't? Does anyone honestly think that young man would have been shot if he was white?
15
@ 14, I'm not sure what kind of trolling Phoebe's up to, but it IS trolling and not honest discussion.
16
That joke is nearly as old as Joan
17
@8 So that's the law? The way it's written, it seems to make sense. You attack me, I'll attack you back! We all want to stand our ground! It all goes to show that we should be cautious even with something that looks so simple.
18

Democrats Nagin and Blanco killed thousands.

Why no anger?

If no one bites the first time, just repeat yourself until they do.
Just get them off the current topic.

@15 I have no idea what you're talking about.
@18 Shut the hell up. You are an idiot.
22

Would Obama's son look like Billy Chambers?

23
Everyone talks about Mad Men, yet no one watches it, myself included.

*sigh*

I miss The Wire.

I've watched every episode of MadMan that is available on Netflix (up to Season 4).

It's one of the great shows, like The Wire, The Sopranos and a few others.

One of the best thing about MadMan is that it tries to present things the way they were back in that era, not through the prisms of some modern sensibility.

Hard to take, but if you like reality...MadMen is great.

25
@22. Yes, probably. So, what's your point? One young man's transgressions in Seattle excuse the murder of another young man in Florida?
26
@22
Hey everybody! Look over there! A black kid committed a crime! Over there! Look! Look over there!

Did I mention that he's a black kid and he committed a crime?
27
Actually, I'm curious Bailo: which Democrats made Katrina a racial issue? Kanye?
28

#27

No, actually, you're stupid.
29
@28: Wow, you finally got a bite, and THIS is what you come up with?

"I'm rubber, you're glue, I never had a point but if I start name-calling maybe you'll forget all about that!"
30
Seriously. You asked someone to answer your charge. Well to answer your charge, I need more details about it. Which Democrats made Katrina a racial issue?
31
I know, @30!

It was George Bush, in the White House, with inaction!

What do I win?

Please wait...
