@justingage: Agreed, sticking strictly to the top three, it seems obvious that Laura's not the only one that needs to pick up the fundraising pace...and IMO, if Darcy wants to keep spending at this pace, she'll need more than just small donor checks...

Not to excuse the differences in disbursements during the quarter, but if (for example) a candidate had to prepay several months of rent on office space, it would look like a mighty big hit during the quarter of that payment.

One thing I noticed in the reports from the Democrats -- DelBene, Rauniyar, and Ruderman all reported receiving $2112 in "party contributions", actually an in-kind contribution by the WA Dems for use of their VoteBuilder database. However, Burner reports no such contribution (I haven't seen Hobbs's Q1 report, so I don't know whether that line appears in his numbers).

It's more likely that it was an easily-rectified oversight on the part of Darcy's campaign than an actual omission by the WSDCC. There's no way they'd deny database access to any serious candidate, for any office.

Another thought -- why has so little money flowed into this race?

Now, one might think that $815K (approximately the six-candidate total for the quarter) is a hefty sum. But other races have pulled in more, sometimes a lot more. Why, a single candidate in MA-04 reported receiving $1.3 million in the quarter. Sure, his name is Joseph P. Kennedy III, but still...
