I recognize that this email is much too long, but it was easier to add on this (wordy) lip-service to respecting your time than to spend any of my own time actually editing.
The other thing that might create a circus (and problems for Romney/ GOP establishment) are the Ron Paul delegations. Apparently if he gets 5 or more he can speak at the convention as well as being officially nominated at the convention.
That means that Romney probably will not be nominated on the first ballot.
So far, Ron Paul has one several state delegations and looks to be adding several more.
Of course, Romnay is all but assured the nomination. But the fact that Ron Paul has won several states recently (such as Iowa and Louisiana), shows just how poorly run Romney's campaign is.
If he can't get his supporters out to Republican congressional district conventions, then how is he going to get Republicans to volunteer in the numbers needed to defeat a sitting president?
@12: "The other thing that might create a circus (and problems for Romney/ GOP establishment) are the Ron Paul delegations. Apparently if he gets 5 or more he can speak at the convention as well as being officially nominated at the convention."
It would delight the media more than it would harm Romney's campaign.
The opening salutation says it all: "Dear Patriot"
...as if anyone but the lunatic right-wing fringe could not be patriotic Americans. Always having to wear their supposed love for our country on their sleeve, these are the same nuts who subject us to the playing of "God Bless America" at ballgames.
Well I've got news for these Tea Party phonies: Real patriotism isn't about showy displays - wearing a flag lapel, or ostentatiously waving your flag at home, or telling other people how to have sex (or not).
Real love for our country comes from understanding where we need to improve, how we can do better as a nation & how together we can move forward - not going backward a hundred years like these right wing loons would have us do.
And for the rest of you, the reason why Tea Party protests dont end in property damage and mass arrests, is because they have respect for law enforcement and respect for property, wheras Occupy Wall Street clearly doesnt give a fuck anymore.
You want to know another group who has respect for Law and Property? Wisconsin Unions. They have no problem going after Republicans in their state without inviting a bung of thugs to smash shit up. Theyre getting shit done, without help from anyone but themselves.
Even if Ron Paul is only able to speak in prime time, that hurts Romney's campaign considerably.
Nominating conventions have become a 4 media love fest for the nominee. They are tightly controlled and heavily scripted. If Paul takes over any part of it, even for only one night, Romney might get knocked off balance and lose any excitement he tries to create for himself.
Sounds like this vocal and energetic part of the right wing is really worried that the presumptive Republican nominee doesn't speak for them. Hmm!

#8 - there's no law against burning a cross as long as you're not doing it to directly intimidate someone and you have the property owner's permission.
I think its important to note that the "window smashers" from May Day aren't winning seats in congress as part of the Democratic caucus. The Republicans have lost control of their fringe and its glorious.

Also, cops tend not to arrest fellow NRA members, especially when they're in open-carry mode...
It would delight the media more than it would harm Romney's campaign.
"WE HAVE TO SHOW THE REPUBLICAN PARTY THAT THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN CONNECT WITH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IS THROUGH THE TEA PARTY!"
Sounds like they have finally admitted that they are Republicans.
Now, about those years of denying it ...

Ohhhh old people stereotypes, why stop there dude, im sure theres some awesome gay stereotypes we can all push.

May Day Protests were an absolute disgrace.
So, you don't think it's ironic that the Tea Party named itself after a "bung of thugs" who smashed some shit up themselves in Boston Harbor in 1773?
Guess they didn't get that "respect for property" handbill that was going around at the time...
I disagree.
