"He didnโ€™t know he was running for president, so he told the truth."

But what about the birth certificate and the newspaper announcement?
In order for there to have been a conspiracy SOMEONE would have had to make sure that Lil' Barry was fraudulently registered and reported at the time of his birth.

Who is that someone, Romney? Who is that someone!?!

No one puts Trumpy in a corner.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but Mitt Romney's dad, George, was born in Mexico and was able to run for the Republican presidential nomination in 1968 without anyone even raising an eyebrow.

If a normal person, or even a journalist, reads 8 USC ยง 1401(g), you can see that as long as Obama's mother was born in Kansas, and not Kenya, it pretty much doesn't matter where Obama was born, he's still a natural-born American citizen. So, whether Obama was born in Honolulu, Topeka, Timbuktu, or Mombasa, Trump can go fuck himself, and take Romney with him. And what the fuck is the matter with the Press? It might make a difference if they mentioned what makes a natural-born citizen once in a while.

McCain was born in Panama, George Romney in Mexico, and the golden boy of our conservative Supreme Court, Chief Justice Roberts, knew enough to swear in Obama in the first place. Somebody needs to pants these birther morons in public.

The GOP nominee is expected to pal around with idiots. Nobody who thinks otherwise would ever vote Republican to begin with, so if you reject that you might as well say the Republican party can't get elected at all.

But they can, and do, and so electable Republicans will go on paling around with idiots. It's really the whole point of the party: angry white males, jackassery, and greed. Not about being civilized or rational.

Donald Chump is the anti-Christ.

Apropos of nothing, I learned a new word today! 'Disquisition.' Awesome.

@3 Because the whole Birther thing has nothing to do with birthplace or citizenship and EVERYTHING to do with race and intolerance. If it were just about the former two, it would never have been an issue (or if it was, the birth certificate and Obama's SSN would put that to rest). They hate the fact that we have a black president, but few people want to say those words. It's all one big dog whistle.

Speaking of Chief Justice Roberts, remember when he flubbed the Inauguration Oath? All those Birthers and Proto-Teabagger types were absolutely elated at that. "Ha! You didn't give him the full complete oath! Technically he's not really President! HAHA WE WIN!" It got so bad that Obama and Roberts had to have a do-over swearing in a couple days later just to shut those people up. Which, in retrospect, kind of set the tone for the coming years...

Er, my mistake. The do-over happened the next morning.

No comment from Gay Dude for Romney. Further proof that the Romney campaign hasn't yet formulated any talking points on this topic.

Gav Dude for Romney chased him off.

Please wait...
