I'll be there with my Ella on Memorex.

So first, we'll need to know what pitch a piece of glass blown into the shape of..errr... a furball a cat vomited into a bowl of liquid nitrogen?

Then, well need MANOWAR's booking info.

The natural resonating frequency at which all matter will vibrate into disintegration! is such an theatrically outlandish concept I'm surprised it hasn't been disproven as sci-fi nonsense.

They actually did this on Mythbusters. A guy from a hair metal band was able break more than one wine glass with his shrieking falsetto.

Ever notice that the wine-glass--breaking stories seem to largely date from the 19th Century? I know that they had some great glass-blowers then, but I think it quite possible that the ingredients and temperature control that were common for mediocre ones were below the current mediocre level, producing glasses that were easier for anything to shatter.

I want to see some Mariners challenge it ...

If they get to use amplification, it's not that tough...with shitty, standard, consumer glass.

With he thick, irregular glass at the museum, I'm guessing it is a bit more difficult.

Fun idea for a promotion, though. I hate Chihully (however you spell his stupid name) and his "art" (I barely consider it as such), but even I would be interested in this.

Cool idea that gets the community and artists from a whole 'nother group that may never even step foot in that museum involved.

Thumbs up.

Please wait...
