Of course he didn't want press there. It would hurt his real constituency, these banks, if this were widely reported. He's a Republican. He doesn't serve Washingtonians. He serves himself and his big ticket donors.

Hey, know what else, Goldy? McKenna (like Inslee), thinks that the Boy Scouts should reconsider their ban on gays.

It was in the Seattle Times. Here's a link:
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/lo…

So, Goldy, I'm starting to agree with others that your pissing match with McKenna is getting leotarded. He had a presser, they let you in. The end.
3
Oh, Tony, don't pose with McKenna, he's bad juju.

I was twenty feet away when this photo was taken but you'd never know it. If I'd known it I would have called McKenna a motherfucker at the top of my lungs.

This is turning into Goldy's street theater version of "Roger and Me".
5
Thanks for being a reporter Goldy.

But Tony works for Solid Ground, Speaker Frank Chopp's baby. So Tony doing a presser with McKenna earns Solid Ground and Chopp a few points with the AG or future governor. It's a win all around.
7
Frank Chopp doesn't need points with any governor, @6. He's done just fine on his own for some years, especially in keeping the Republicans from ripping apart the last threads of the safety net the last few sessions. He's bigger and meaner than McKenna.

ha, seems like KIRO tv wants in on the McKenna fun. Check out the "Raw video: McKenna avoids questions about Washington public safety" video at:

@8 heh - good work KIRO. Maybe nobody was at this press conference because all of Seattle media is banned.

this post has too much snarky gossip and personal crap and not enough news. "Tony Lee told homeowners about mortgage modification and foreclosure restitution opportunities that are now available under the terms of a recent $25 billion nationwide settlement with the country's five biggest lenders." Presumably Washington state gets what, $1 billion or half a billion in settlement dollars and yet you don't tell us who will get it, what the basis is, how many homeowners or former homeowners will get it, is this real money or fake money, just look for a notice.

"somethings happening, look for a notice!" gee thanks a alot. if you criticize mckenna for not being open to the media at least actually report when he has something to say.
11
So does McKenna figure himself a small-time Mitt Romney?
12
$2,000!!! Oh thank you Mr Banker. Thank you so much for fucking over my family then giving us $2,000 fucking dollars. You really do care about families. Thank you!!!!
13
He did this on purpose so he could say later that he announced this at a presser, even though in fact virtually nobody was there to hear it and put the information to use (which I'm guessing he doesn't actually want).

If a tree falls in the forest....

Please wait...
