Shoulda made copies of the 10 most crowd pleasing art projects of the last decade. Very few would be familiar with the original artists being ripped-off and the public would have the Art part of their brain sufficiently stimulated. Totally worth it. Maybe Carsten Hollers metal slide; Ollafur Elliasons sunrise or waterfall; stuff like that.

If we lost the ability to record and duplicate music for the masses every person you know would become an expert musician in a cover band dedicated to disseminating and preserving the great works. We should be more open to spreading great art.

Thanks for the write-up! To clarify a few important things for the public: SPECS had to relocate to Neumos at the last minute due to city construction issues; Allison installed her moss piece Saturday so she wouldn't get struck by lightning at 7am Friday (thank you Jason for stepping in!); and visual art maps did not come through, so we made our own and posted them on many of the fences. The artists did a wonderful job working with the spaces they were given, and with some limits of what the city would allow us to do. All in all, we're very proud, we feel this was a great first go, and are already thinking about next year!
