What about the record multi million dollar FINE for illegally not reporting taxable income?

So they followed the letter of the law, but not the spirit. And we're supposed to take her word for it and be satisfied, and elect him to the presidency based in no small part on his financial acumen.

Newsflash, Ann: Just because it was legal doesn't make it right.

Actually, I suspect she knows this and it's why they won't release all the facts.

Hiding behind her skirt, Willard?

"These aren't the droids you're looking for..."

"God, will you guys stop asking about our finances already? You're going to make us make ourselves look bad!"

She's worried that those 101 dalmatians she wrote off as a loss a few years ago will come back to haunt her, what with Seamus and all.

It's been a while since I have heard Anne Romney praised for her great looks, courage and calming centering effect on her husband and family. The Romney campaign has got to realize how far off message she is, but they have no way of bringing her back.

What was that, Ann?

"It's been managed by a blind trust since before Mitt was governor, you know, 2002 forward,” she told Morales. “And so, you know, I'll be curious to see what's in there too."

So you don't know what is in there, Ann? So why not release them?

Mrs. Romney said if they release any more information, "it will only give them more ammunition."

So Ann does not know what in there because it wasn't even Romney who did anything with it for years and years but she does know that whatever is in there that Romney did not have anything to do with will provide "ammunition" to Romney's political opponents. Yeah, right.

I personally feel that Romney paid his taxes - right to the letter of the law. It's what his money was up to during his more "liberal" years that might piss off the tea baggers and those on the fence about him.

It's quite possible she doesn't know what's in there. At that level of wealth you probably can't know unless you spend a lot of time most days. I can understand not wanting to find out in the middle of a campaign.....but talk about a high quality problem!

Didn't Romney promise to release his 2011 taxes? He's just released the extension request form so far. But now they're saying no more returns will be released, so I guess just his (incomplete) 2010 tax returns will be all we get.

I guess that shows how much his word is worth.

"you can always tell a blind trust what it can and cannot do."

Please wait...
