Am I the only one who finds the orientation of the chopsticks in that bowl a bit discomforting?

I guess not.....

@1,2,3

Halloween is coming soon -- just getting a jump on it.

Another "dislike" for the upright chopsticks pic - doesn't lend any credence to the Asian food rec.

There's a really nice Chinese place on the Ave at N 45th. Yum.

I was actually taken there by one of our Chinese (as in China) grad students.

Recommended. they also have a manga lending library.

North 45th and the Ave? I am sorry, but which Ave?

I remember going to the Moon Temple about thirty years ago. It is on N 45th near Woodlawn Ave as
I seem to recall. Fell off the bar stool a few times. The drinks in that joint were awesomely stiff. No manga however.

@7/8, Will's only interest is in defecating somewhere in a thread, not having a conversation or providing useful information, so he won't be back.

What he means is the intersection of NE 45th Street and University Way NE ("The Ave"). It's near where he "works." Whether there's a "Chinese (as in China)" restaurant somewhere in the general vicinity that is actually the one he vaguely remembers, or whether it's any good, or whether it has manga holding up the wobbly table legs, is anybody's guess.

Chopsticks stuck in the rice like that is not okay.

My mom would have a heart attack.

would someone do some research before posting any damn picture of chopsticks and rice. I see this more often than not and you would think in Seattle where the asian population is large enough to maybe get this right? Chopsticks standing upright in rice stands for death and it's for funerals.

Please wait...
