I'd rather they put Slog behind a paywall than have to suffer these intrusive plugs for Lineout. Just because people like to listen to music doesn't mean they want to read about it. "Dancing about architecture", am I right?

...I know that was English. I recognized each of the individual words. But other than talking about some musician playing something I have absolutely no idea what that is all about.

I am officially out of touch. I will now go listen to my vinyl records of the Andrews Sisters while looking at pictures of Betty Grable.

Why is this incomprehensible drivel on slog? It's like reading greek, except I can magically undertand one phrase, and it is:
