I'm straight, divorced twice. This particular column by Dan is the very first time I've read his work. (I know and highly respect Dan mostly from his It Gets Better Project -- Kudos!!).

Reading this, my first, second and third reaction was OMG, there really is no daylight at all between gay and straight marriages! This thought is a compelling reason for marriage equality.

Oh, and the marriage described here is in trouble. Big trouble.
