The McGinn doesn't look like the Big Bro.
It looks like the early OBEY/Andre posters.

Face with words is a fairly common poster design.

The difference is that I don't want to hug and rub my beard up against Big Brother's face.

I read that Mike McGinn did another AMA (nobody asked for another one, he just posted another thread). His plan to solving the high rent problems was to allow for more apodments and mother in law houses in your back yard.

So for families, please squeze everyone and the cat into a 150sq one room and for people who already own a home, you can now take every inch of yard you have, build an apodment.

@10, I like the idea of MIL's to be honest with you. Nickels explored that a little and McGinn dropped the ball during his term. It's not the best solution but it's better than aPodments. And you should look at some of the MIL's around town, many are nice sized and overall great living spaces.
