I'm so confused about the adulation for the Goldfinch. Why does everybody love this book so?
2
Congratulations, Jen! Hope she gets it next time.
3
Cheers, Jen. Nice to see recognition for all you do.
4
Oh yeah, and congrats to Jen, of course. Sorry to lead off all negative like that.
5
Jen: Super congratulations. You absolutely deserve it. I enjoy reading your slog posts quite a bit. Thank you for all that you do!
6
JEN GRAVES! Very exciting and very well-deserved.
7
Congratulations to Ms. Graves! I've loved her writing since she joined this band of Strangers, so glad it's getting recognition!
8
Yeah, even as I'm not a real big fan of contemporary art, I almost always enjoy Jen's Slog posts. Fun times.

So, just to get this straight, the Guardian and the Post, whose primary sources were Edward Snowden's stolen/leaked documents are to be celebrated for revealing the information contained therein, but Mr. Snowden is a traitor and should be thrown in jail for life and/or executed? Just checking.

Please don't go to 6am daily posts like Eli did, Jen.

We need and want to hear from you more and often.

Congratulations!

Delighted to see you're getting such recognition, Jen. Your intelligence and sincerity are deserving of a Pulitzer every year.

@9: Snowden didn't steal anything. He copied information that was communicated to him by machines programmed to do so by U.S. government staff, then communicated it to reporters.
13
Congrats to you, Jen! Very much deserved!

She is awesome.

Pulitzer awards 21 people per year (and approx 100 finalists). So being a finalist is not too shabby.
