In the past 24 hours I have listened to more Veruca Salt songs than in my entire lifetime.

I believe they may be one of the most underrated bands in history and certainly represent the female rock artist as well as Hole or Liz Phair and maybe even better than Garbage.

They aren't British though. They are from Chicago. Yet! They have Anglophile roots, as clearly identified in the album "Eight Arms To Hold You" (the alternative title of "Hard Days Night") and some lyrical allusions to "Glass Onion"...
