Gaysha Starr is really upset about them realizing that "SheMail" was pretty transphobic, and in context with the other things they were doing should go? Really?
As someone who has been a big fan of Ben for years in his live performances, I can't say I ever thought he came off as terribly likable in this format. He's a very specific, burlesquey queen. He's a quiet introvert, and it resulted in a distinct lack of warmth from him throughout the season.
Go back and watch Season 5. Jinkx is INSTANTLY warm and likable, because there's much less of a wall between Jinkx the queen and Jerick. Ben has that wall very, very strongly built. And it shows.
Sure, he definitely deserved to stay on longer than fucking Courtney or Darienne. But when Bianca'a biggest problem is wearing a similar silhouette every week - something that RuPaul has been guilty of for 20 years now - I don't know how anyone thought Ben would beat her out.
I'm from Seattle and didn't even realize she was from here. She was my least favorite of the bunch less. Guess it's different if you're not biased. Bianca and Adore are my favorites.
It was a ridiculous decision. Adore has the charisma & the edit, but she hasn't brought the polish & talent to enough episodes to be a real contender with Bianca & Ben. I thought Bianca was a lock for the win, but I thought Ben was unquestionably top two material.
This season has probably been the worse season. The queens all were dull, boring and safe. There's been nothing shocking on the runway and the "drama" in the workroom is faker than Michelle's tits.
If RuPaul's Drag Race was to appear on the Disney Channel this is what you would get, something so sanitary that any corporation would be proud to be a sponsor. And it seems the bigger the guest judges are the cleaner and safer the show gets.
I used to love this show (it peaked during season 3-4-5) but like most shows, it has a shelf life and it's time to pack up your wigs and try something else.
PS: I would have send ALL of the queens home by episode 2: they all bored me to death. Where is Sharron Needles or Jinnx or Raja!?!?!?
Disagree with Jinkx. She was not warm or likeable; she came off has having a chip on her shoulder, hence why the aggressive Roxxxy picked on her. There are people who don't like Jinkx, believe it or not. Season 5 was a bore all the way through.

But yeah, this season sucks.
And whether you think so or not, it's still shitty to post spoilers above the jump.
