Alternatives to coastal cities?

Inland Washington is on the move...as Tri-Cities develops.

They even have traffic circles:

Kennewick to consider its 22nd roundabout

Kennewick has 21 roundabouts, more than any city in Washington, according to the state Department of Transportation.

If anyone decides to take SROTU up on his suggestion, let me know. I can give you recommendations on where to have a bit of marginal fun in the Tri-Cities as a before you slowly go crazy and ache relentlessly to return to the Puget Sound.

Alternately, if you love winery tours and milquetoast community theater productions, you may be able to live out the rest of your days in serenity.
