My dad is a terrible driver. I doubt he'd let anyone take away the keys.

Yeah, pretty confusing. On my first read-thru I missed the "adult" children part and thought they were talking about having to take away the keys because folks are too damn drunk. Which made for a pretty fun read also, especially when it seemed like dad may get violent over the potential confrontation. Drunk, violent dad is a barrel of monkeys!

Shouldn't it be the DoL's responsibilty, not the responsibility of adult children the elderly may or may not have?
