Kathleen,

Welcome to Seattle. Just an opinion: if the Stranger's regular news coverage was even half as comprehensive as the coverage of ticketed events from which you directly profit, its readers would be some of the best informed in the nation...

What I've learned over the past three maybe four years is related to what @1 said above.

And no Kathleen, it's not getting any better over there. The Stranger has become The Rocket. Not sure what The Rocket is? Ask around.

@2 For shit's sake, all they did was combine Slog and Line Out. Get over your creepy sense of entitlement. They don't owe you anything in terms of content.
4
@3, well fuck me for having an opinion asswipe. Maybe you need to get over your sense of entitlement?

..the children seem to need mimosas this morning..

As they say, a good man is hard to find. At a music festival. I was the White Party at Q instead.

@1: Gotta pay the bills somehow.

@2: What's wrong with the Rocket?

@5: Good morning, reverend dr riz!

Sigh something can't be "pretty unique", it's either unique or not, I would hope an editor at a newspaper would know this :(

@6 You misunderstand me; I am not complaining. I'm thinking positively.

Promoting StrangerTickets events doesn't bother me in the least. Of course they have to pay the bills. I wish they would promote even more if it gave them the budget to be as in depth about actual news.

Imagine if they could cover everything, or at least coordinate to cover the important stuff with this level of detail! It would be amazing and practically unparalleled.

Kathleen welcome to the best city in the country.

Everybody has lots of opinions about everything, but most will only say them from behind fake names and from a lit up screen and keys.

Keep it positive and you'll be a lot happier.

Good chattin' this am. Riz. Hopefull you're on to some Brrr's by now with Jacob.

@3, they also made it so you can "filter" to get only LineOut content or Slog+LineOut... no way to go Slog only anymore, so I hope you like LineOut.

Please wait...
