Eh, this is just the natural progression of technology: VHS killed the XXX movie houses; DVD's killed VHS; and now the Interwebs are putting the last nails in the coffins of the adult bookstore & video industries. I mean, why pay for it, when you can get it all for free - and in the comfort and privacy of your own home no less?

When we first moved to the neighborhood, my wife and I would debate what kind of videos they rented as we crossed the pedestrian overpass.

Being hopelessly naive, I was convinced it was a regular video store for almost a whole year. In sad it's gone. There were always quite a few cars in its lot, so I'm a bit surprised it's out of business.

@14: In one of my more desperate moments shortly after leaving college, I interviewed to work as a clerk there. It's a porn video store, and they gave gay porn to its own shelf. Lesbian porn was not similarly segregated. I can't say that I was totally disappointed to not receive a call back.
