Was excited about the video, but the narrator's voice grated on my nerves in less than 20 seconds. Maybe you can narrate the next one, Ansel. If your voice is as dreamy as your looks, I'll last the six minutes. *wink*
@2 Yes because US involvement in Mexico and Central America (and South America too while we are at it) has always been of unmitigated benefit to the those countries and their citizens.
Preschool has the prefix, pre, which liberals are always forgetting. The government should not be taxing for "pre" anything. School starts at 6 years, period.
@10: Is it in the Bible that school starts at 6 years? Why not 7, or 10 years? Why not 4?
It is called pre-school because it prepares a kid for school. Much like Cub Scouts prepares a boy for for Boy Scouts or the US Naval Academy Preparatory School prepares midshipmen for the US Naval Academy, pre-school maximizes your taxpayer educational investment by seeing that a child is prepared before they enter public schooling. After all, that is what public education is, an investment that has very real financial consequences for the country. It has been shown that pre-school substantially helps many students, particularly the poor, so I have to wonder why you would be opposed. Could it be that you are a faux-conservative and don't actually even claim to base your economic opinions on sound market data? Or could it be that you don't like the idea of giving minorities and the poor a better chance in education (which might raise them up to the same level as the middle class) because that would be class warfare (despite being sound economic policy)? Or maybe you are just racist? My guess is all three.
@12: No shit. He is like a farmer who doesn't rotate his fields because he can get a 50% higher profit this year. Or the tech company that fired its entire R&D division to boost profits. @raindrop doesn't know shit about investing or planning, only what is available to take right now.
Raindrip is being stupid again. Raindrip has no idea how much better kids do in school when they've been in pre-K compated to those who have not. Raindrip should just stop demonstrating his ignorance over and over and over again.
@ 32, ha ha ha ha. It's not liberals who oppose policies that promote stable two-parent familis gay adoption, abortion and birth control access, food stamps, or public education free of resource-draining "choices." Those ills have much more to do with failed social and economic conservative policies that have been the rule since Reagan's time in the White House.
Sounds like some of the world's greatest injustices are happening in Mexico and Central America.
The US/UN needs to invade and seize control of these broken countries.

You didn't mention the Taco Time stabbing that same week.

Aren't we "involved" by being a receptacle for all the people for whom their own governments will not take responsibility?

My parents and my family have done this all by ourselves. It's called "parenting", apparently a skill Americans have lost.
and I doubt you have kids either, based on your posts.
I kissed a girl.
I earned a suspension because I decided to throw a potato doused in green paint at my teacher. It probably ruined her white blouse.
Um..
I drew some pictures.
I tried to pull a tinker toy out of the wheel it was jammed with my teeth into and swallowed it.
I required some calming down that the tinker toy wouldn't kill me.
I ate some animal crackers.
I think that's it.
I can't really explain that BEING AROUND PEOPLE WHO AREN'T LIKE YOU isn't something learned.
Unless you inbreed.
Meanwhile, first grade.
Domingo, Lunez, Martes, Miercoles, Jueves, Vernes, Sabado.
Keep it up, stranger geniuses.
Go see what you are. Go see the shit you live in.
Take the train under the water and see who I am.
Who I like, killed people for, and canonized plaid for.
Since you're all so selfless, this is how it must be explained.
Then go back and take a look in the mirror before coming home.
I think you'd shut the fuck up.
You're marked as caste believers.

Maybe when you understand that if I spoke ill of the individual over there it has nothing to do with you you'll have the opportunity.
Psychotic reality-warp post-racial selflessness and all.
I wonder how Vienna felt about that one. Hi guys. Wanna go rally with the hajjis?
All we've got left, isn't it.
Until that happens, enjoy being displaced.
Just like you voted for.
One didn't go to high school, read a book store, learned how to code, made a business, and is set for life.
The other rides a bike with a milk crate on it.
Which kind of sums it up, doesn't it.

BTW, genius, school starts at age FIVE. Jeebus wept, can you be more ignorant?
Some studies say they do. Some studies say they don't. Guess what, the #1 factor in determining school success is?
TWO PARENTS IN THE HOUSE.
But that requires something liberals hate: self restraint, personal responsibility, a moral compass.
I support both, just think people should pay for their own.
Ditto for gay marriage, I support. Time for poofs to stop jiggling their asses at people in parades and join the PTA.
She takes out her trash and walks directly to work.
Never THE trash.
There isn't a device for that.
Then I say 'irregarde', even though I don't have to.
This is a new development.
Mice cast the grain spell.
They're good at that.
Which, is totally, like, two fucking people dude.
