I know where that is! I live less than a mile from there. Great beach. And this summer, when I visited a friend in Seattle, it was cold and rainy here, and sunny and hot there. I like fall weather, but this year has been fucked.
I want that weather back NOW! This is getting ridiculous over here. Climate change is gonna drive me away in search of my precious cool dampness. Juneau here I come.
Since when does Chicago EVER have nice weather? If everyone in this city spent 2 years, like I did, living in that climate, then you would appreciate how good we have it here. I'm serious, I've lived here for 4 years and do not have a single complaint about our weather. Bring on the 48 degree "winter".
Yesterday I sat around after work in my t-shirt and shorts with the fans on and the windows open enjoying being chilly for a change rather than sweaty. My sister got home and proceeded to shut windows, turn off fans, and mope around in two pairs of socks, a sweatshirt and jacket over a regular shirt, and sweatpants worn over regular pants. Girls are weird, yo.
Bill, if you live or work on the beach: SWEEEET. I spent a lot of time on Lake Michigan as a kid, growing up in Wisconsin and having relatives in Chicago with a HUGE sailboat. I love the inland seas that are the Great Lakes.
For once, just ONCE, we're having a perfect summer. I wouldn't trade a single day of it. Thank you, Bay Area, for the loan of your beautiful weather without your smog.
Please wait...
and remember to be decent to everyone all of the time.

Oh wait, this isn't the Dish's View From Your Window contest or Horse's Ass's Street View contest. Never mind.

You give us Lake Michigan, and we'll take our weather back.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
No.
