@2: I thought you meant on top of the TV, like plastic garden ornaments. Now I've looked at the pics, I see that it's on the TV, like a TV program. And yes, nice touch.
County records show its last purchase price--in the eighties--was just $86,000. Of the woman who's owned it all these years Dan once wrote, "Huh? Who is this douchebag and where does she get off speaking for “the people”?" http://slog.thestranger.com/2007/04/the_….
$775,000 is a steal! Victorian houses the same size in shittier (looking) shape in the Central District sell for that much. They must be hoping for a bidding war. I wish I had that kind of dough (or any kind of dough...)
I've seen the Seattle Gay News ads for this home for 3 weeks. So you can't say they haven't tried to inform the LGBT community to keep it in the LGBT "family". But if "family" don't step up, who's fault is that? I can't do it but I hope "family" will jump on this home, it"s still active. ps, they are required to inform the buyers of the neighbors proposed apt status.
@9 tear down might happen, heard the developer @14 mentioned put the buyers up to acquiring the property and will expand the project to the end of the block
I hear Pioneer Square is getting nice...
