The heck with Sally Clark. It's drinks o'clock Denver time, so here's to the late 5280/Jeff.

Unfortunately for me, Jägermeister's on sale at half-price this week, so I'm hoisting his tipple of choice because I'm a cheap s.o.b.

Thanks for the laughs and the teeth-grinding and the LGBT/pot support. Long may you rankle and delight the denizens of whatever place you now inhabit.

I'm not sure why the leaders of Nickelsville don't change its name whenever a new mayor comes in. That way, even in a fleeting PR moment, they can remind people about the issue of homelessness. They can have a ribbon cutting event to christen the encampment. Just imagine Mayor Murray's response to having a homeless encampment named after him? It'd be hilarious.

I am so getting a growler of hard cider in Fremont to celebrate Sally Clark not running again.

How many bums are sleeping on Sawant’s couch in her fancy single family home she just bought?

That’s right, zero. She’s a cruel one alright. Let’s bums freeze to death while she has a perfectly spacious and warm single family home in a hip neighborhood.

Is Sally Clark a Log Cabin Republican? Shares genes with Mitt "ThosePeople" Romney and/or Anne "It's Our Turn" Romney?

Too bad the Council didn't tell her they'd agree to the month's delay for shelter beds if she sleeps outside on a park bench or doorway for a week.
7
@6 if she wants to be a conservative Council Member she should move to San Diego
8
Here's to 5280! Let's raise our glasses!
9
This is absurd. Anywhere else in America (aside from places like San Fransisco and Berkley) Sally Clark would be called a far-leftist. Here, they call her CONSERVATIVE??!!

Jesus, I can't wait until my lease is up and I can get out of here before they pass that relocation tax Der SStranger is silent on.
10
@9 -- Neither can the rest of us who read your posts.

Sally Clark is not a far-leftist in any jurisdiction on Earth.

@9

Break your fucking lease already, you penny-pinching chickenshit. Geez, what happened, did they convince you to sign a five-year lease or something, you idiot with the cranium-shaped urinal?
12
Sally Clark has no political viewpoint whatsoever. Her entire Council tenure has been spent attempting to delay any and all legislation.
13
The paucity of reporting on this election really shows what's happened to the Stranger. If only Anna Minard had stayed through the election.
14
All Union represented city employees make more than $15. Zzzzzzzzz
15
@11,
I know it's not the point you're trying to make, but with the recent fast pace of Seattle rent increases, collectivism_sucks would be a genius to have signed a 5 year lease back in 2009.
16
Anna didn't seem to be doing that much in recent months, either. Which is probably why she left.
17
@15

Yeah, well, "cranium-shaped urinal" hardly gets across the idea that his brainless head is good only for pissing in, too. It's like these stupid commenters don't even try these days.
18
Anyway, that isn't relevant. Regardless of whether in retrospect that would have been a good deal for him, he nevertheless would be liable for the remaining months on the lease if he left early.

Reducing or not increasing the number of seats for both city councils and county councils dilutes the votes of all , but especially for those unfortunate to be in a voting district where they are a political minority: it is a type of gerrymandering and needs to be rectified. --- http://www.winwinnetwork.org .
