Thanks, Dan. This is such good news. I'd never heard of Lucie's Place until your post. I'm glad to have been part of such a positive thing. I am also thankful today for you and the people at that shelter.
@3 Here's hoping that Lucie's Place can establish some emergency/transitional housing soon. Thanks to all the scumbag parents around the country who throw away their own children, facilities for homeless youth here in NYC, and presumably other large gay-friendly cities, are overwhelmed. And, it's nearly winter. Kids come here from all over, only to find out that they're likely to end up on the streets anyway.
