Constant Lovers bring their hard-as-hell rock to Chop Suey's "soft opening" March 6.

Closed since January 20, Capitol Hill venue Chop Suey just announced its first shows under the new ownership of Brianna Rettig, Brian Houck, and Erin Carnes. The grand opening takes place Friday, March 13, with Portland punk-rock greats Dead Moon headlining and Tacoma garage-rock mainstays Girl Trouble supporting. The soft opening will happen Friday, March 6, and feature Constant Lovers, Beautiful Mothers, and KA. On Valentine's Day at the Highline, Dead Moon's prime movers Fred and Toody Cole just played a ripping set with their other band, Pierced Arrows.
