Why spend money to make it look better than all the other shitty low-budget programming for kids on basic cable? Kids don't know the difference, and certainly no one else is going to watch it.

I LOVED Richie Rich comics as a kid. My mom even made a RR Halloween costume for me one year.

I thought the Macaulay Culkin movie was the RR lowpoint. What is this Netflix garbage?! The panels in the original comics were uncluttered and sparse (and I LIKED that), but every frame of this tv show has a million things in it. My eyes!

I'm not a violent person, yet I want to join you in smacking him into the nearest black hole. That smirk is obnoxious. As is the robot maid. The script could have called for a totally cool robot pet. And, for the record, voiceover guy, it's pronounced FeBREWary, not Febuary. Ugh.

Like most TV shows, they use a far older actor than the character. It's ok to use 25-year olds in Welcome Back Kotter to play 17-year olds, because that's part of the joke. But using a 14-year old sexualized, pubescent smirker to play an 8-year old innocent destroys the premise.

I know he's rich but surely he should have parents to reign in some of that obnoxious behavior. Or ore they robots, too?

I wanted to be Professor Keenbean when I was a kid. I remember the cartoon being more about his cool inventions than about Richie playing with expensive toys. That and him having everyday things that just happen to be made out of gold and monogrammed.

So they turned Richie Rich into a Beverly Hillbilly?
