Seattle Times:

Comcast crews are working to repair a damaged fiber-optic cable cut in the Madison Park area of Seattle, according Steve Kipp, vice president for communications for Comcast in Washington.

Cable is out—which means TV and Internet—all over the Hill, Amazonia (South Lake Union), Pioneer Square, and downtown. Just took a walk up Broadway and you can't use a credit card to buy a slice at Pag's and the doorbells/intercom/entrance of at least one apartment building are all "inoperable" due to the outage. This morning Comcast told my huzzben that service would be restored by noon. Now they're telling him service won't be restored until at least 9 pm. You know what that means: No Internet until sometime next week.
