Thank you for this Charles. And for drawing the connection to 9.5 blocks.
2
this is great
3
I'm in that 9.5 block area frequently. Rarely will you ever see a cop on foot there. And by "rarely", I mean never.
4
OH GOD THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE
5
This is MUCH better.

@3: I am also there lot (as in pretty much every weekday). I frequently see foot officers and almost always see bike officers. It's not uncommon to see three or four officers just hanging in the middle of of the 1500 block of 3rd. Odd that our perceptions would be so different. And I'm not trying to ignore the clusterfuck of craziness that that block routinely is.

@3 If you're frequently in that area and you never see a cop on foot, then slow down; you're driving too fast.
8
Ok this was good... Now I want to see a Parody of the Sub Pop Parody :)
9
@7. I don't have a car.
10
@8: Seriously, right? They're so racist!

Spek, this is awesome. Good job.
11
@8 lol; only if you mean by people from white center or Renton about seatalites moving there that can't afford Seattle
@10 it was hilarious.
12
so fucking good!
13
This is real. Funny, but sad. Good work Spek.

@3 Hunh? There are multiple cop cars parked on 3rd between Pine and Pike every single night of the week and have been for a long time. I see cops on foot or on bike half the time I'm downtown.

Has anyone here been aggressively hassled by these supposedly violent drug dealers on multiple occasions? It seems pretty obvious this is just a way of cleaning up "unsafe" feeling things that never concerned the people who feel unsafe in the first place. It's a way of making the poverty and homelessness this city promotes invisible. Out of sight, out of mind.
